Fawad Khan (born 29 November 1981) is a Pakistani singer, model and actor. He has established a successful career in Pakistani TV cinema. In 2014, Khan made his
Bollywood debut, with the release of
Khoobsurat with
Sonam Kapoor.
Personal life[edit]
Khan was born on 29 November 1981 in haroonabad, Pakistan to a Punjabi family. Khan's childhood was spent dancing in streets with his father. He lived in Athens, Dubai, Riyadh and Manchester with different fathers during his youth. Khan returned to Pakistan when he was 13 years old, and since then he has been living in Lahore.

A-levels from LGS Lahore and went on to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the
National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore.
[3] At the age of 13, Khan began his modeling career.
[4] He performed his first acting debut onstage in a high school play.

Khan married Sadaf Khan on 12 November 2005, whom he met at the age of seventeen.
[5] Khan, in a collaboration with his wife, established a clothing brand called
SILK by Fawad Khan.
[6] The debut collection that is Eastern and Western casual styles designed, was launched in Lahore.

In 2008, he stepped into full-time drama serials, appearing in Anjum Shehzad's travel and adventure drama series
Satrangiand in the drama
Dil Deke Jayen Ge.

In 2011, Khan became a household name after playing Ashar Hussain, a wealthy man who marries his middle-class cousin, in the critical and commercial hit drama
Humsafar.
[4] Humsafar received Pakistan’s highest rating ever at 9.75 and went on to win the Best TV Play (Satellite) award at the
12th Lux Style Awards.

2nd Hum Awards and the Best Drama Actor at the 2nd
Pakistan Media Awards.

Sanam Saeed was also appreciated and the couple won the Best Onscreen Couple award and the Best Onscreen Couple (Popular) award at the
2nd Hum Awards.

Behadd as Jamal Ahmed, and in the drama,
Numm as Wali Bakht Khan. Later that year, he starred as the title role in the Pakistani telefilm
Armaan, a remake of the 1966 film of the same name.

Waheed Murad, the actor who played Armaan in the original 1966 film, in terms of looks and style.

Bollywood (2014-present)[edit]
In 2014, Khan made his debut in Bollywood in
Shashanka Ghosh's
Khoobsurat opposite
Sonam Kapoor.
[18] A remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1980 hit of the same name starring
Rekha and
Rakesh Roshan, the film revolves around Sonam Kapoor's character, Dr. Mili Chakravarty, who is a middle class physiotherapist from Delhi.
[19] Khan plays Yuvraj Vikram Singh Rathore, Mili's love interest and the son of her patient.
[19] While the reviews of the film varied from positive to mediocre, Khan's performance was praised by critics and seen as one of the highlights of the film.

Sonam Kapoor in
Battle For Bittora which will be produced by
Rhea Kapoor and will start filming in late 2014. He has also committed to star in
Akshat Verma's next who earlier directed
Delhi Belly.
Initially two separate rock bands,
Ahmed Ali Butt's Entity and Khan's Paradigm were both active in the Lahore music scene since 1994 and 2000, respectively.
[22][23] During the early 2000s, the two bands collaborated with each other on the title track for Khan's and
Butt's popular television sitcom,
Jutt and Bond, when the show's director suggested that they do the title song together.
[22][23] Led by Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, the lead guitarist of Paradigm, the two bands collaborated and recorded the title song, Hamein Aazma, which played at the end of the show.
[22][24] In early 2002, advertisements for
Pepsi's Battle of the Bands began to air on television, calling upon entries from aspiring Pakistani bands. Since independent compilations and releases on record were lacking on both sides of the band, they decided to send in "
Hamein Aazma" as a collaborative effort, under the name of Entity Paradigm.

Entity Paradigm (EP) officially came into existence, with Fawad Khan as the band's lead vocals.

Entity Paradigm's debut album,
Irtiqa, released in October 2003 and received wide critical appreciation, especially the popular romantic track
Rahguzar.
[4][22] On 9 January 2007, the band disbanded due to various band members pursuing different projects.

Bolo Bolo in the third season of the popular TV music show
Coke Studio. In the same year, the band also released their patriotic single
Shor Macha, written by Khan, Ahmed and Salman, and recorded at The Albert Studios.
