Time was when telly mommies, like the ones we got so used to seeing on the big screens, were the last words on everything maternal, always inspiring calmness and comfort. Not any more. The new mommies in our TV serials are hot, happening and melodramatic, at times even conniving. With multiple layers of make-up and designer clothes, these new-age moms are here to give fledgling young beauties a run for their money.
This Mother's Day, let's take a look at some popular mothers on the small screen.
Struggling moms
*Ragini Patel Khanna (Pallavi Kulkarni) is a supermom who fights every odd to raise her children and educate them in Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar.

Over-protective moms
